Renusol celebrated its 25-year anniversary this year, which you will have seen us speak about extensively for several reasons. Whilst it is an achievement in itself to have been in the solar industry for a quarter of a century, it is how we have grown and developed during this time that makes us so proud to have reached this momentous milestone.

Naturally, our anniversary led us to spend much of 2022 looking back on our biggest triumphs. But we were also inspired to do even greater things in the years to come — helping us succeed in delivering an array of new and improved services throughout the last 12 months.

So, as we approach 2023, we would like to take the opportunity to reflect on everything we did this year — from new product launches to events we attended.

Bigger and better mounting solutions

One of our biggest achievements from 2022 was the release of the Renusol RH1 roof hook.

With an extraordinarily high load capacity that exceeds our previous strongest model by 25% and a universal design that ensures suitability for nearly all types of pitched roofs in Europe, this clamp allows for quicker, easier and more cost-effective installation involving fewer components.

We also paid close attention to the changing solar landscape and developed new product variants to cater to new customer demand.

As the uptake of solar panels in commercial sectors increases, larger, more powerful solar modules with a higher energy output are needed. Hence, we released the FS XL. As a bigger version of the FS, our flat roof mounting system, the FS XL can accommodate larger modules with its adapted eave support, base rails and streamliners.

By outdoing ourselves once again, we have demonstrated our unwavering commitment to pushing for innovation wherever possible — something that we carried through to our product certifications.

We have obtained even more ETN certifications across our portfolio, with the RH1 roof hook joining the MS+ and VS+ systems in becoming ETN-certified in 2022.

This esteemed mark of quality is required in France and respected throughout Europe. Only awarded to products that have demonstrated resistance against conditions such as strong winds, snow and rain, this certification helps installers and their customers trust in the reliability of our products.

But it does not stop there!

We recently collaborated with SMA Solar Technology by integrating the Sunny Design tool into our PV-Configurator 3.0 — allowing customers to design a complete PV system, not just the mounting solutions, in just a few free clicks, and enhancing the ordering process altogether.

Speaking of collaborations, this year’s relaxation of COVID-19 guidelines also saw us get back to some important solar events…

Seeing you all at solar events

The Renusol team were fortunate enough to attend a series of important global solar events in 2022.

Many of these events were high-profile exhibitions, like Intersolar and Solar & Storage Live, where we proudly presented our latest product releases. We also sponsored SegenSolar’s Pre-Solar-Show Training Workshop at The Solar Show, leading a product training session and helping installers get to grips with the Renusol portfolio.

However, we took every opportunity to play an active role in today’s solar landscape (both literally and figuratively) and also competed in this year’s Renewable Energies World Race.

As we donned our branded cycling gear and rode the 5.5 km course alongside other prominent solar manufacturers and renewable energy companies, we formed a small but important part of the bigger picture — and had great fun doing it!

The most rewarding part of attending these events was the space they provided to extend our outreach and reconnect with those we could not see in person during the pandemic, as we met with old and new partners and installers from around the world.

We look forwards to taking part in even more events in 2023 and, of course, continuing to deliver on our core principles of ‘Simple. Solid. Service’. Expect even more of the fuss-free, super reliable mounting solutions you know and love, and perhaps something new!
