Renusol RH1 joins the MS+ and VS+ in receiving ETN certification

Why ETN Certification is so important

The ETN certificate is required by most insurance companies in France to ensure that the products installed in the country meet particular standards. Applications are tested against strong winds, snow and rain to measure how well they will withstand extreme weather conditions once installed, and only pass if they are deemed to have sufficient durability.

Because the tests are highly demanding, the ETN certification has gained reputability throughout Europe as well as France, giving you the seal of approval needed to have complete trust in the quality of your PV system.

It is the value of this certification for customers that motivates Renusol to continue expanding its ETN-certified product range and makes us so pleased to announce that the RH1 roof hook now boasts this mark of quality.

The RH1 roof hook 

As our universal roof hook was developed in line with customer feedback and demand, the RH1 is a real asset to the Renusol portfolio.

Its key benefit is its flexibility, enabled by the extensive configuration options. With an adjustable base plate for optimum positioning between rafters and tiles and a flexible height range, a flush fitment is guaranteed regardless of the conditions of the installation with the RH1.

This product can also carry more for less, with an extraordinarily high load capacity and 25% more strength than our previous strongest model. Fewer mounting solutions mean a more affordable system and a shorter installation time, whilst high durability helps extend the life of your system.

The RH1 joins the MS+ and VS+ systems in obtaining ETN certification, two equally as flexible, highly durable mounting solutions from Renusol.

Renusol’s other ETN-certified products

Our best-known mounting solution, the Renusol MS+, is ETN certified. This system is designed to streamline the landscape installation of PV modules on trapezoidal metal roof sheets, with short rails and minimal materials for easy, cost-effective transportation.

Multiple variations of the MS+ are available. The MS+P is the portrait equivalent of the MS+, for panels that need to be installed in a portrait orientation, and the MS+CORRUGATED is designed for corrugated, rather than trapezoidal, metal roofs.

Whilst both of the above variations boast identical features to the MS+, the MS+H is adapted to suit hot weather conditions. The higher rails allow for additional space between the panels and the roof effectively prevent system overheating — a perfect solution for warmer climates.

The Renusol VS+, our universal fastening solution for nearly all types of pitched roofs in Europe, also boasts ETN certification. Its two mounting rails for medium to high loads and adjustable clamps allow for secure fastening of PV modules, meaning only one clamp is required for all applications.
