A recap of the tool

The Renusol PV-Configurator 3.0 is our state-of-the-art software what enables you to design a bespoke PV system using Renusol mounting equipment. Not only does the tool reduce costs and offer higher levels of safety, but it also guarantees accuracy thanks to the precise automatic wind and snow-load calculations.

To ensure complete correctness of all systems, our team of experts carried out a series of tests, implementing the Eurocode safety concept in conjunction with our structural verifications in the calculations. The wind and snow-loads of 17 countries are included with a useful sign-off function from Google Maps.

When using this tool, we hope to speed up your installations and planning process by providing the exact parts required to make assembly as straightforward as possible. Once you have entered all the relevant information, you will also receive detailed assembly plans and structural calculations which are easy to read on site. With nine languages available, this tool is universal, accessible and free to use.

Notable new features

All-new mega module database

We recently implemented a significant update to the PV-Configurator 3.0, opening up  access to a module database of more than 110,000 different panels from established manufacturers.  

The update means any user can view all relevant module data with an easy-to-use search option. Thanks to the new functions, users no longer have to input module information manually, speeding up the process and making the design even more straightforward and accurate. The module database will be updated regularly to reflect any changes to the current panels or to add new items. If you prefer, you can still edit the module data to allow freedom and flexibility if necessary.

If there are specific modules you use more often than others, you can mark these as ‘Favourites’ for quicker access.

Unlock enhanced accuracy with universal fixings

You can now calculate the number of certain third-party fixings required on your project based on your local wind and snow-load conditions!

For example, our collaboration with Nicholson means this is valid for Nicholson ROOFTRAK™ fixings when used with our on-roof and flat roof systems. While this detail may appear minor, we still consider it a crucial detail as calculating a specific figure speeds up the design process and elevates the accuracy and quality of the system. As an exact number is provided, you avoid overdesign to save material both and labour costs on site.

Please note the manufacturer provides the load-bearing capacity of the fixings and is responsible for those figures. Renusol implements the values supplied in the PV-Configurator tool for the calculations.
