New features: LC1 laminate clamp and automated load calculation

We are delighted by the PV-Configurator’s popularity, which is reflected in the rising number of users. Now, we would like to introduce two new features which will make your day-to-day work even easier.

You can now select the LC1 clamp for frameless modules

Over the past weeks and months, we have been busy running thorough analyses on our newly developed LC1 clamp, which can be used for all frameless modules (laminates). Its load-bearing capacities have been calculated and stored in the PV- Configurator. Your benefits: Starting now, you can also design PV systems with laminate modules and obtain the relevant structural analyses in addition to drawings and parts lists.

Wind and snow load values are now generated automatically

True to our company’s philosophy of Simple, Solid, Service, we have made the process for calculating wind and snow loads significantly easier. Previously, users needed to enter data using a map feature, which would then provide a reading of the wind and snow load at the relevant location. Now, a fully automated process can calculate these load values for 20 countries.

All you have to do is enter the location using the Google search function and the PV-Configurator does the rest.
