A new way to plan PV systems with Renusol and SMA!

The year might be coming to an end, but we have not slowed down operations at Renusol. Our teams have been working tirelessly to push for excellence across our company throughout 2022, resulting in some amazing achievements.

You might have seen that we recently expanded our ETN-certified product lines, as our hanger bolts joined our MetaSole+ and VarioSole+ systems in obtaining this prestigious mark of quality. Whilst this provides customers with greater confidence in the durability of our products, we have also sought to optimise the ordering experience altogether.

So, we are delighted to announce our latest project — the addition of SMA Solar Technology to our PV-Configurator 3.0!

A few clicks, heaps of possibilities  

The PV-Configurator 3.0 was created to help installers design PV mounting systems without fuss. It is free to use and provides everything you need to get started with a solar mounting — including a project report, assembly plan, structural calculations, documentation of parameters and parts list —  in just a few clicks.

Germany’s biggest solar inverter manufacturer, SMA, has 40 years of experience delivering top-notch solar solutions and offers a similar project planning service through their own online tool. Sunny Design allows users to curate a complete PV system, with or without battery storage, in minutes — streamlining the project planning stage and guaranteeing an accurate final product.

We decided to cross-link the PV-Configurator and Sunny Design to produce two enhanced design tools, where Renusol customers now have the option to integrate SMA inverters into their PV system plan and, equally, SMA customers can choose to calculate their PV systems with Renusol mounting solutions.

Design systems such as these are crucial to ensuring complications and confusion do not interfere with installers’ abilities to deliver accurate PV systems — an important part of encouraging the widespread uptake of solar and, therefore, the global transition away from fossil fuels. So, we are incredibly proud to have launched this collaboration and cannot wait to see how it benefits our customers.

But as our services expand, it is only right that our team follows suit!

Growing our team

Welcoming new team members is crucial to continuing to deliver on our ethos of ‘Simple. Solid. Service.’ and goes hand-in-hand with ensuring that we can cater to customer needs across the solar mounting spectrum.

This promise feels particularly important as we celebrate our 25-year anniversary, a momentous milestone we have only been able to reach due to our unwavering commitment to innovation and development.

As such, we recently welcomed Zvonko Vučkov to our team, who has gotten off to a great start in his role as our newest technical sales account manager.

Zvonko is responsible for assisting with technical enquiries and providing all-around support to customers in Eastern Europe. He operates from his homeland, Croatia, and is fluent in three languages — Croatian, English and German — so plays a vital role in allowing us to provide exceptional service across the globe.

We look forward to seeing what the future holds for Zvonko and the rest of the team at Renusol!
